John Shelley, besides photographing the Royal Family, attends the various venues of what we tend to call the season: Badminton, The Royal Windsor Horse show, The Windsor Horse Trials, The Chelsea Flower Show, Trooping The Colour, The Garter Ceremony, Royal Ascot, Cartier Day and The Braemar Games. Also undertaken are commissions in Corporate Photography, Event Photography and Portraiture. He is considered by many to be one of the Great Portraitists of our time. Your portrait of course can be you playing Polo, on board your Yacht, in your Garden, your home, your Company boardroom, or wherever you think it is that the environment compliments you. Event Photography is also something that John excels at in conveying the nature and essence of the occasion, which can be you hosting a reception or a dinner at your home or at a venue in London, to a week or several weeks tour abroad at leisure or business, perhaps visiting overseas companies etc. This is very similar to Corporate Photography where the requirement can be just a company portrait of you or your fellow directors taken at your company headquarters or a complete coverage of the activities of your company both here in England and abroad if appropriate, however confined or extensive those activities might be.

John Shelley 'Travels Royally'

You take off from London, travel to Vancouver then to Tokyo, and then back home. You have been around the world, very trendy and like most things very trendy it means nothing at all. All you need is to be able to afford it. I have travelled around the world many times, but if I talk of travel I forget to mention it. I remember and recount my experiences in Kathmandu and Pokhara in Nepal, of Mostar in Yugoslavia, Ayers Rock and Sydney Harbour in Australia, Raffles Hotel in Singapore, eating Crocodile in Papua, touring the Sultan's palace in Brunei. Seeing the Taj Mahal at Agra, the temples at Bubaneswar, the streets of Calcutta in India. Wondering whether I would make it in Klosters in a snowstorm, or whether we would be able to repair our car, which had broken down in the jungle in Belize. This is my experience of travel. I am a Photographer; I photograph the British Royal Family at home and on their travels around the world. I go to amazing places, see wonderful sights, do incredible things. I am very privileged, very fortunate; I travel Royally.
